Toccoa Falls
Toccoa Falls, a 186-foot high waterfall,
is located on the campus of Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, Georgia. To reach
the falls follow GA17Alt. out of Toccoa approximately 1.5 miles to the campus of
Toccoa Falls College. Turn left into the collage and follow the road 1 mile to
the parking area at the entrance to the gift shop at the falls. A fee is charged
for entrance to the falls.

Minnehaha Falls
A slow drive around Lake Rabun is required to get to Minnehaha
Falls, but they are worth the wait. Fall Creek cascades a noisy 60 feet in a
cove framed with mountain laurel and thickets of rhododendron.
Black Rock Mountain
Black Rock Mountain State Park, named for its sheer cliffs of dark-colored
biotite gneiss, encompasses some of the most outstanding country in Georgia's
Blue Ridge Mountains. Located astride the Eastern Continental Divide at an
altitude of 3,640 feet, Black Rock Mountain is the highest state park in
Georgia.
